Wedding Venues on the Central Coast

by admin Email

The first step in organising a wedding is to organise the wedding venue. There are hundreds of options from specialised Wedding Venues who's sole purpose is to host weddings to venues that allows you to hire the room and  bring your own food, drink and entertainment. To make your life easier we have selected a few for easier comparison.

...

First ask yourself the question what wedding you want. A church wedding will require you to book the Ceremony and the Reception Venue separately. A celebrant led wedding ceremony allows you to combine ceremony and reception into a single event.

You will also have to consider the style of wedding reception. If you have always dreamed of a large formal wedding in a traditional setting you will have to look for different venue than for an informal beach wedding.

Last but not least you will need to set a limit of the number of guests that you will be inviting. The list of guests is not only restricted by the available budget, but also the size and licence of the venue that you select. If you plan to have 300 or more guests you will need to take that under consideration. On the other hand you are much more flexible with a smaller group.

We have done some research and grouped the venues on the Central Coast that we came across in some basic categories. You can also use the attached Spreadsheet to search or group wedding venues. Please be aware that the list does not necessarily contain all wedding venues on the Central Coast as there is constant change, but it is a very good starting point.

The classification that we are using is:

1) Specialised Wedding Venues

2) Hotels and Restaurants

3) Clubs

4) Community Halls

In our spreadsheet we are also including some key indicators such as cost, rating and maximum number of guests. You can sort the list by the values that are important to you so that you can create a shortlist of venues that fit your budget and other requirements.

Here is the list of wedding venues that we found so far. Please review this list again later as we are continuing to add to the list.
